Liverpool FC is currently engaged in discussions with Portuguese manager Ruben Amorim, who currently leads Sporting Lisbon.
Sources indicate that the 39-year-old coach is showing interest in joining Liverpool’s ranks, although he wishes to complete the current season with Sporting before making any potential move.
Reportedly, Amorim is the primary candidate for Liverpool’s managerial position, potentially succeeding Jurgen Klopp.
It’s important to note that securing Ruben Amorim’s services won’t come without a cost for Liverpool. Amorim’s contract with Sporting includes a release clause of €20 million, which any foreign club must pay to acquire his services.
It is worth noting that according to some sources, the services of the Portuguese coach are also being sought after by London-based Chelsea.
