The team of referees, who will judge the Champions League final between English Manchester City and Italian Inter has been defined.
According to the official UEFA site, the Polish team of referees headed by Szymon Marciniak was appointed to judge the Champions League final.
The game will take place on the night of June 11 at the Ataturk Stadium in Istanbul.
For Marciniak, 42, it will be the first Champions League final of his career. In 2022, he officiated the final game of the World Cup in Qatar between Argentina and France.
It should be noted that in the current season, the Pole has already officiated the matches involving Manchester City and Inter. At the group stage, he officiated the meeting between Barcelona and Inter (3-3), and in the 1/8 finals, he officiated the meeting between Porto and Inter (0-0). In the semi-final, the Pole recorded a 4-0 victory for Manchester City over Real Madrid.
