Argentina striker Lionel Messi has missed the team’s training session before the 2022 World Cup final with France.
The forward missed the team’s training because of discomfort in the back of the thigh, which he felt during the winning semi-final match against Croatia (3-0). The severity of the injury is unknown, but the Argentine team expects him to be able to play in the final.
It is noted that all other players took part in the process.
We should add that the 35-year-old Messi played six matches for the national team at the tournament in Qatar, in which he scored five goals and gave three assists.
Let us remind, that the final match of the World Cup 2022, in which France and Argentina will meet, will be held on December 18. The day before Croatia and Morocco will play for the bronze medal.
