The so-called “Drake Curse” has once again made itself felt. Canadian rapper Aubrey Graham, better known as Drake, got burned again on a bet.
Drake lost $400,000 betting on Jake Paul’s knockout victory in the fight with Tommy Fury, the younger brother of British WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. As you know, the popular youtuber lost by split decision. And if Paul had won, Drake would have won $1,440,000 on his bet.
Interestingly, earlier Drake bet on former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya $1.4 million, and he in turn lost to Alex Pereira. At the end of August last year, the Canadian rapper bet on another former UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman to fight Leon Edwards. And Usman lost that fight.
