The Pittsburgh Pirates has been desperately hunting Josh Bell since the last winter
Before the last baseball season, the recruiting management of The Pittsburgh Pirates team asked for a renewal of the cooperation agreement with the first basemen Josh Bell and they seem to make another attempt during this offseason.
Currently, Bell’s freshman contract with the Pirates is expiring in two years so the prolongation was supposed to become an advance renewal. The contradictory information is currently given regarding the price of the contract that Bell might want to request. On the one hand, having Scott Boras as an agent, he can theoretically claim for the big amounts of the payoff; on the other hand, his performance in 2020 was regarded as more than weak, his price has significantly decreased which allows the Pirates club management to make a good deal with him.
From the moment of his debut, the first baseman demonstrated a confident game but his performance could not be called a steady one. In the first part of the regular season, Bell showed brilliant results; however, the second one was not so definite.
