Famous American rapper Eminem refused a multimillion-dollar fee for his performance at the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar.
Another not less famous rapper 50 Cent told journalists about it.
Thus, the rapper said that he and Eminem were offered a total fee of nine million dollars by the organizers of the Qatar World Cup, but both rappers decided to decline the offer.
“Eminem would have been paid eight million dollars and I would have gotten one million. I talked to his team, but he flat out refused to do it,” 50 Cent said.
Recall that many famous performers refused to perform at the World Cup because of human rights violations in Qatar. As a result, the lead singer of Korean k-pop group BTS Jong Chongguk performed at the World Cup.
The tournament was held at the end of 2022. The winner was the national team of Argentina.
