Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic, ranked second in the world rankings, defeated the world’s number one player, Spanish player Carlos Alcaraz, in the final of the “Masters” series tournament in Cincinnati, USA.
Djokovic won with a score of 5:7, 7:6 (9:7), 7:6 (7:4).
The match lasted for 3 hours and 50 minutes. During the match, Djokovic delivered two aces and made five double faults. Alcaraz hit 11 aces with five double faults.
After the final match, Alcaraz couldn’t contain his emotions and teared up on the bench.
The prize fund of the Cincinnati tournament amounted to 6.6 million dollars.
