The Portuguese national soccer team defeated the Swiss team in the second round of the group stage of the League of Nations.
The meeting was held at the stadium “Jose Alvalade” in Lisbon and ended with a score of 4-0. Cristiano Ronaldo scored a double (35th and 39th minutes), goals were scored by William Carvalho (15th) and Joao Cancelo (68th).
Thus, Ronaldo has updated his own record in goals for the national team. The Manchester United player now has 117 goals scored, which, as before, is the best result among all the players in their national teams. The second place is occupied by former Iran national team player Ali Daei, who scored 109 goals.
