Today, it was announced that Steven Gerrard, ex-Liverpool captain joined Aston Villa club to perform as the head coach under a three-and-a-half-year contract.
Gerrard spent three years at Rangers, and will take responsibility for maintaining the club in the Premier League after their latest failures that led them to the sixteenth ranking in the EPL.
The main focus of Aston Villa today is to avoid the relegation and it was announced they have paid £4,5 m to Rangers for this transfer.
