In a legal development that has captured attention, a Los Angeles court has issued an arrest warrant for former Liverpool player Daniel Sturridge. The warrant stems from his failure to fulfill a promise to reward the individual who found his missing dog.
In 2019, Sturridge publicly offered a reward for anyone who could locate his Pomeranian dog, which had disappeared from his Los Angeles home. The dog was eventually found and returned to its owner by Foster Washington, a local rapper known as Killa Fame. However, Sturridge allegedly did not pay him the promised $30,000, leading Washington to take the matter to court.
In December 2021, the Los Angeles court ruled that Sturridge must indeed pay the promised reward to Washington. Nevertheless, the footballer has yet to comply with this court decision, resulting in the issuance of an arrest warrant.
