A year ago, Etienne was very close to start his NFL career, and nothing changed much due to the injury he got in preseason. His rookie campaign was ended before a start as he had to undergo a surgery. He had to spend his first season with the Jacksonville Jaguars, but ended up missing his rookie year.
Still, Etienne believes ‘’it wasn’t the worst season to miss’’. His trauma was only a starting point of the unlucky season for the Jaguars, and
Etienne’s injury was one of the starting points of a calamitous season for the Jaguars. They starter 0-5, and then lost eight games in a row. As a result, Meyer was fired in December. Still, Etienne will hopefully re-join the Jaguars next season. Although he was drafted by Meyer, it’s a big chance that the new Jaguars head coach, Doug Pederson, will not object against the Meyer’s pick.
According to Etienne, his foot has already improved to around 85-90% and he is not feeling the trauma much.
