On July 14, during the vibrant Bastille Day celebrations, Paris, France’s capital, warmly embraced the arrival of the Olympic flame. This grand event featured over 540 torchbearers who took part in the spectacular relay.
Thierry Henry, the esteemed coach of the French Olympic football team, was one of the first to carry the torch. The flame embarked on its journey from the Champs-Élysées, passing by renowned landmarks including the Panthéon, Notre-Dame de Paris, Bastille, and the Louvre.
The festivities culminated with an evening concert at Place de la République. Along its route, the Olympic flame also visited Montmartre and the Arc de Triomphe, enhancing the celebratory ambiance of this significant day.
