Liverpool forward Diogo Jota has become a co-founder of a new esports team, as reported by InterGame. The team, which will compete in tournaments for FIFA/EA Sports FC, Dota 2, and Rocket League, will be named Luna Galaxy.
Jota has rebranded his previous esports team, Diogo Jota Esports, and has invited esports athletes from other clubs to join it.
In the last season, Jota played 28 matches for Liverpool, scoring 7 goals and providing 8 assists. His market value is estimated at €50 million according to Transfermarkt.
