Today marked the opening of the integrated Fontainebleau casino resort in Las Vegas, a project that took 20 years to construct.
This $3.7 billion project features a 67-story tower housing a 3644-room hotel, set to become the tallest residential building in the state of Nevada.
The Fontainebleau casino boasts 1300 slot machines and 128 table games, with a total gaming space exceeding 16,000 square meters.
Over the course of 20 years, the Fontainebleau project underwent multiple freezes and changed hands among various investors until developer-billionaire Jeff Soffer acquired it in 2021, completing construction within a year and a half.
