Hunter Greene showed a flawless performance pitching for the Reds. He became the much-hyped Major League debut on Sunday afternoon serious final.
Greene, the No.22 prospect overall showed an impressive performance during a 6-3 win against Cincinnati. He yielded three earned runs on four hits and threw 92 pitches over five innings.
Greene’s performance led the Reds to a four-game winning streak; the team’s manager David Bell said ‘the whole team was thrilled for him’.
Greene was the No.2 overall pick by the Reds in 2017. An elbow injury left him benched during the first pro-season 2018, alongside Tommy John surgery that he overwent in 2019.
