17-year-old American boxer Kermel Moton made a successful professional debut in the boxing ring.
Moton competed in a boxing event in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, in the super featherweight division. He knocked out his 27-year-old compatriot Ezekiel Flores (4-1, 3 KOs) in the first round.
For his professional debut, Moton received special permission from the Nevada Athletic Commission.
In the amateur ranks, Moton achieved a record of 156-7 and won 18 different titles. He has been training under the guidance of Floyd Mayweather Jr. for several years, and Mayweather has signed the young athlete to his agency, Mayweather Promotions.
