The international sports and esports betting operator, GG.bet, is expanding its presence to the United Kingdom. GG.bet is already established in Europe, South America, and Asia, and holds licenses from gambling regulators in the UK, Curacao, and Malta.
Sergey Mischenko, the CEO of GG.bet’s British division, emphasized that this move marks an important step in the company’s development.
This entry into the UK market was made possible through a deal with Rednines Gaming, which acquired the rights to use the GG.bet brand. Rednines already holds a bookmaker’s license under which the company’s brand, Dr.Bet, offered online casino services and sports betting to customers. Now, Dr.Bet will automatically redirect users to the new platform, GGbet.co.uk.
GG.bet offers betting on over 30 different esports disciplines, including CS: GO, Dota 2, League of Legends, and Fortnite.
According to GG.bet’s data, the esports betting market in the UK has grown by 47% in the last three years.
