Sunday became an end of the season for Dallas Cowboys which resulted in their 23-17 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
This loss was followed by the public rage raised among the viewers, who started throwing garbage in players and referees when they were leaving the field. The main reason of the public displeasure was the Ramon George’s mistake that prevented Prescott from spotting the ball within the last seven seconds of the game.
Later, Prescott published a tweet where he commended the fans for their behavior which resulted in a $25k fine. On Thursday, he posted another tweet with explanation and apologies, saying he regretted making such comments and claimed he’d been ‘caught up in the emotion of a disappointing loss’. Prescott admitted his words were ‘uncalled for and unfair’.
