Cashpoint is a sportsbook with a good selection of sports disciplines to wager on, a convenient mobile app, and a range of bonuses for new and existing customers. Our Cashpoint review will go into detail regarding all sides of this European bookmaker: we will speak about the existing sports betting markets, reputation and reliability level of the company, touch on its history, and will mention essential facts about the customer service quality, banking options, and betting odds.
Cashpoint (usually misspelled as Cash Point) is a European bookmaker chain: it has sports betting shops and self-service terminals, and an online gambling site. It was initially focused on Austrian bettors but successfully operates all over Europe and accepts customers from Germany, Denmark, Belgium, Cyprus, and Greece. The main version is English, but the site is also translated into French, Danish, Polish, Romanian, Spanish, Turkish, Italian, German, and Greek.
Unlike many online gambling platforms, Cashpoint does not offer any other activities but sports betting: you will not find any casino games, bingo, or virtual sports options.
Cashpoint was founded in 1996 as a sports betting shop in Austria; after developing into a bookmaker chain in several European countries, it went online and signed with various sports and gambling-related organizations. Recently, Cashpoint has released sports betting app for iOS and Android.
At the moment, Cashpoint is the main sponsor of SCR Altach, an Austrian Football Club, but it has not shown any significant steps in terms of building brand awareness and big endorsement deals, remaining a local sportsbook for the loyal customer base.
Cashpoint Ltd, the owner of the Cashpoint betting site, is a legal entity in Malta. It is approved and regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority license granted in 2018; the license number is MGA/B2C/114/2005. Besides, Cashpoint is a part of the International Sports Betting Integrity Association, Play Fair Code, GamCare, and the Global Gambling Guidance Group — international companies responsible for problem gambling and match-fixing issues protection. Some Cashpoint reviews mention the UK Gambling Commission license, but we have not found any information about Cashpoint in the UKGC public register.
How to create an account?
To start your experience, press the Sign Up Now button on the top of the page. A pop-up window will ask you to indicate your personal information: name, last name, date of birth, residence address, email, and mobile phone. Besides, you can select a Welcome Bonus; after you fill in the form, accept the Terms and Conditions, and your account will be ready to go. There are no quicker registration methods, but the overall process does not take longer than a couple of minutes.
Сashpoint Sportsbook Review
Cashpoint is a gambling platform focused exclusively on sports betting and does not offer any casino gaming options; still, it is pretty natural to expect a wide choice of sports with a wide variety of bet types. Although Cashpoint’s offer is not the smallest one, it does not involve more than thirty sports, including top popular and less mainstream ones. Overall, the selection is enough for an average bettor: from Soccer and Basketball games to eSports, Alpine Skiing, and Futsal.
The sportsbook layout is pretty convenient to get used to; the website does not look like a typical European online bookmaker and offers alternative solutions in terms of match coupons, bet slips, and events lists. The compact design is one of Cashpoint’s advantages: you have quick access to the most important sections of the site, and secondary links are hidden under the drop-down lists.
The minimum bet is €1, and the maximum limit depends on the selected event. Besides, you can set your personal limits for each bet or your gambling losses per day, week, or month. The maximum possible winning from a single bet is €100,000.
Pre Match Line
The main sportsbook page shows you the top popular upcoming matches with the available odds; if you need to check out more lines, you must go to the Sports tab on the left and select a league, a discipline, or search events by country. What is convenient, you can immediately check out bet types offered for a selected sport before you open a match coupon of a particular event.
The best-covered sport is traditionally Soccer: you can find up to five hundred betting markets for a single Premier League, Bundesliga, or another prestigious league match, and from thirty to a hundred events to wager on for the less popular games. For instance, Milan vs. Venezia matchup within Serie A has two hundred and forty-four markets at the moment of writing this review. The betting options include standard bets like Money Line, Handicap, and Totals, and the line is mixed up with various more complicated wagers as follows:
- The Last Goalscorer;
- Total Goals Scored By Team A/B;
- Which Half Will Score More Goals;
- Win One Halves;
- Win Both Halves;
- Penalty In The Game;
- A Player To Score;
- A Player To Score Twice;
- A Player To Score Plus Results;
- Yellow and Red cards markets, and more.
To stay unbiased, the other sports are not covered so thoroughly: for instance, many tennis matches do not include more than ten-twenty bet types. However, we were pretty impressed by an overall decent choice of eSports disciplines: a Cashpoint player can wager on Counter-Strike: GO, Dota 2, Overwatch, Rainbow Six, and League of Legends. Although Cashpoint does not offer markets for many leagues, all major events always appear in the action line. Still, the selection of betting options is poor, to say the least: the odds are provided for the Match Winner markets.
Live betting lines also delight bettors with in-depth coverage of Soccer and various options for other sports. The main advantage of the Cashpoint live betting section is their quick bet options: it takes a few moments to make a wager so you can easily bet on the last-minute markets. Not that there was a great variety of such last-minute bets, but you can still find odds for the first-half winners, first team, or a first player to score. In-play lines also include exact score markets and such betting options as Who will score the next goal.
Unfortunately, there are no such features as a live streaming service that may force bettors to opt for another sportsbook offering broader live betting opportunities.
Speaking about the odds, not everything in the garden is rosy: Cashpoint can not be called a competitive sportsbook in terms of the odds they offer.
Although it is not the worst offer in the industry, there are sportsbooks with significantly better odds and margins. If the event is not popular, the margin can reach 11% or 12% in the pre-game section and even bigger in live markets,
Cashpoint’s customer support team has relatively good reviews on various platforms; however, there are also complaints about the long processing time of the requests. What we immediately noticed when we started to prepare the review on the Cashpoint customer service is that you need to make an effort before you can find any contact information: it is located under the Legal Info tab at the page’s footer. However, we were pretty disappointed to see only a physical address, a customer support email address, and a fax number. No phone number or live chat is available, so there is no chance to contact Cashpoint’s representatives quickly.
If you click on the three stripes signs on the left upper corner of the page, you will see a drop-down list with the Help tab. This Help section contains answers to the most popular questions related to the account, banking, and sports bets.
Besides, you can contact Cashpoint support agents via social networks: Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
Cashpoint does not offer the biggest selection of bonuses and promotions in the industry. You will not find any specials related to major tournaments or seasonal promotions, so you are limited by several deposit match bonuses and boosted odds for the selected events. Besides, Cashpoint app new users can get an additional bonus. We will provide you with brief information on the Cashpoint bonuses in the table below, but recommend reading detailed terms and conditions carefully: country and payment method exclusions apply as the primary audience is Austria, and all bonus offers mainly face this region.

Deposit and withdrawal
One of Cashpoint’s strongest sides is the selection of payment options. Although it does not include cryptocurrency, you can opt for various international and local banking systems to conveniently make deposits or withdrawals:
- Visa/Mastercard credit and debit cards;
- E-wallets: Neteller, Skrill, PayPal;
- Sofort by Klarna;
The minimum deposit for most methods is €10, but if you use PaySafeCard or PayBox, you can top up your account for only €1. For some reason, Cashpoint does not indicate the maximum and minimum limits for withdrawals; the withdrawal processing time may vary from several hours to five working days depending on the selected method.
Special betting options
Cashpoint is a pretty average sportsbook, and it does not have much to offer in terms of various additional services. Still, you can find the following extra options for a more diverse experience:
- Odds Boost: selected Soccer markets come with special boosted odds. You will not find such special markets daily, so mind the offers expiration dates;
- Mentor: a special tool, helping you to control your expenses for avoiding problem gambling and poor bankroll management;
- Match Results: you can check the results of most games at the dedicated tabs;
- Cash Out: an option allowing you to secure your bets and take back your stake before it wins or loses.
Cashpoint offers a native app available for iOS and Android users; you can download both versions from Cashpoint mobile website or in the App Store. Both apps are convenient to use and give access to all betting markets, deposits, withdrawals, and customer support. Besides, Cashpoint is one of the few bookmakers offering an additional bonus for app users: it comes as an additional welcome bonus and is available for existing customers who downloaded the app for the first time. Below is the table with the apps specifications actual for the moment of creating this review (September 2021).

Cashpoint is a reliable site that pays out: it is a significant advantage, so if you join it, you are guaranteed to have a safe experience. The brand is well-established and licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority, which is regarded as a prestigious gambling authority; besides, Cashpoint is actively participating in various organizations combating match-fixing and fraud in the sports betting industry, which inspires trust in their service.
Still, there is nothing much in terms of activities Cashpoint can offer: compared to the powerhouses in sports betting, Cashpoint is a very small platform limited in terms of betting markets, special offers, and bonuses; the odds make it unattractive for most bettors. There is no Cashpoint Casino section and other activities but the sports betting; besides, the website lacks a modern approach to customer service: you do not have access to even such a typical contact option as a Live Chat, so our overall impression was a bit disappointing, and we can not determine Cashpoint rating as higher or similar to the top popular European gambling brands.
Cashpoint does not have any licenses making it a legal platform in the United States. Although it accepts US gamblers, the primary audience comes from Europe, so there is not much entertainment a US player can find at Cashpoint.
Cashpoint is officially licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority and operates according to the terms and regulations of Maltese gambling authorities. You can safely use Cashpoint knowing it is regulated by a respectable gambling commissioner and send any inquiries directly to the MGA in case of any disputes with Cashpoint.
Cashpoint offers a range of traditional methods for cashing out: you can use Visa/Mastercard credit and debit cards, e-wallets: PayPal, Neteller, Skrill, and several local European payment systems like Sofort, Uberweisung, or GiroPay.
Yes, Cashpoint provides new players with a bonus after they make their initial deposit. The bonus is a 50% match to the first deposit amount; the deposit must be €10 or more, and the maximum bonus amount is €300. You can also receive an extra cash bonus of €20 when you first log in via the Cashpoint app.
