All Premier League games will be suspended for broadcasting for Russian viewers after closing the contract with Rambler, the local broadcast partner in Russia. According to the source, all twenty clubs of the League supported the decision at the Tuesday meeting in London.
The EFL also suspended access to all its streaming services for Russia, including iFollow. The league will donate £1million to help Ukrainians who suffered during the war.
The message of solidarity also includes the league-wide support: special armbands for team captains, and supporting messages displayed on TV and stadium screens to be visible for the league fans worldwide.
