UFC bantamweight title challenger Anthony “Rumble” Johnson, who passed away at the age of 38, was suffering from cancer.
It is noted that he was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis, a rare disease of the immune system.
That said, non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma is not considered a death sentence and is usually a treatable form of cancer.
Johnson had 23 wins and six losses during his professional career.
