Man United wants to keep Marcus Rashford as Cristiano Ronaldo could leave.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Ronaldo’s departure from Man United next year is likely. In this regard, Man United aims to sign a new long-term contract with Rashford.
Ronaldo and Rashford are in a similar contract situation – their contracts run through the summer of 2023 and include the option to extend the agreement for another season. And while MU will definitely activate such an option in Rashford’s contract, there will be no hurry in Ronaldo’s case, as the forward will turn 38 in February.
Extension of the agreement with the Portuguese will only be carried out by mutual agreement of the parties.
